LUO Binwang (c. 619—c. 687), Guanguang by courtesy name, was from Yiwu in Wuzhou (i.e. present-day Yiwu, Zhejiang Province). He once followed Xu Jingye to fight against Empress Wu Zetian but failed, and his whereabouts are unknown. Luo Binwang, Wang Bo, Yang Jiong and Lu Zhaolin were known as “Four Outstanding Figures of the Early Tang dynasty”. Being ornate and precise, his poems were compiled in A Collection of Luo Binwang's Poems.
